You're Never Alone

May the angels protect you, trouble neglect you
And heaven accept you when it's time to go home
May you always have plenty, the glass never empty
And know in your belly, you're never alone

May your tears come from laughing, you find friends worth having
As every year passes, they mean more than gold
May you win and stay humble, smile more than grumble
And know when you stumble, you're never alone

Never alone, never alone
I'll be in every beat of your heart when you face the unknown
Wherever you fly this isn't goodbye
My love will follow you, stay with you, baby, you're never alone

Well, I have to be honest as much as I wanted
I'm not gonna promise that cold winds won't blow
So when hard times have found you and your fears surround you
Wrap my love around you, you're never alone

Never alone, never alone
I'll be in every beat of your heart when you face the unknown
Wherever you fly this isn't goodbye
My love will follow you, stay with you, baby, you're never alone

May the angels protect you, trouble neglect you
And heaven accept you when it's time to go home
So when hard times have found you and your fears surround you
Wrap my love around you, you're never alone

Never alone, never alone
I'll be in every beat of your heart when you face the unknown
Wherever you fly, this isn't goodbye
My love will follow you, stay with you, baby, you're never alone
My love will follow you, stay with you, baby, you're never alone

Italian Style Flounder

The past couple of nights I made supper, but what was different this time was that I used recipes from Pinterest! We had some flounder fillets and I look on my boards and found this recipe. It was SO good!

  • 1 pound dry ziti pasta
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
  • 6 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add ziti pasta, and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes; drain.

2. In a large skillet, brown onion and ground beef over medium heat. Add spaghetti sauce, and simmer 15 minutes.

3.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer as follows: 1/2 of the ziti, Provolone cheese, sour cream, 1/2 sauce mixture, remaining ziti, mozzarella cheese and remaining sauce mixture. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.

4.Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheeses are melted.

The original recipe is from allrecipes.com. I looked through the reviews and took notes. I added some minced garlic, Italian seasoning instead of basil, and some parmesan cheese. This would be good on any other white fish, too. This is definitely a keeper!

If I haven't mentioned it I love Pinterest. I'm on there all the time. I love not only adding stuff to my pcos boards, but food, crafts, work out stuff, etc. I've found some of those ecards on there that talk about pcos and thought that they were pretty funny.

But not this one.

Where the first one makes me feel like I'm not the only one with pcos, the second one just makes me feel completely awful about myself. Am I just too sensitive about it?

I Love Nail Polish!

When I was in high school, we're not going to mention how long ago that was, I was sort of known for my fingernails. The bed of nails aren't really wide, but they're kind of long and my nails are pretty strong. My freshman year my science teacher used to pick at me about them because they were always really bright colors. I sat on the first seat on the last row and every week he would ask me, "What color do we have on them this week." I was kinda embarrassed because he'd always ask me in front of the entire class. I was a lot better with smaller groups.

I told you all of that to let you know about the promo ZOYA has going on today through the 13th!
